Marisco and Rey-Charles are OLD HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS who recently MET AGAIN after THIRTY YEARS. They are BOTH at a STABLE POINT in their lives, EMOTIONALLY and FINANCIALLY, and now they want to give back. Life was DIFFERENT when they were YOUNGER; they were LESS focused on CHARITY and MORE interested in having ADVENTURES.
Back in those days, Marisco was known as the FUNNIEST friend, while Rey-Charles was the MORE SERIOUS one. NOW, they are both WISER and feel STRONGER about helping their COMMUNITY. They often meet at the LOCAL RESTAURANT to discuss their plans. Their CONVERSATIONS are FILLED with laughter, but they also feel the WEIGHT of their NEW MISSION. They BOTH AGREE that helping others is MORE SATISFYING than any adventure they had in their TEENAGE YEARS.
Their idea is SIMPLE: they want to provide MEALS to those who are HUNGRY, and they dream of creating a SAFE SPACE where EVERYONE feels WELCOME. This work is one of the BIGGEST PROJECTS they have IMAGINED together.
They plan to involve more friends and neighbors in the area and hope to inspire the AUDIENCE at each CHARITY EVENT. They believe that FRIENDSHIP and KINDNESS are the BEST GIFTS they can offer to the WORLD.
